In Islam, Sexuality is a commodity, a gift from God to creatures. Too numerous to mention all the sayings of the Prophet (peace and blessings) which celebrates sexuality, which for centuries has made Islam in the West were regarded as immoral and lustful religion.
Marriage is a highly recommended, to the extent that the Prophet said: "Marriage is half of religion, and the other half is the consciousness of God (taqwa). One important thing is that the Arabic word used to refer to marriage - Nikah - also refers to sexual intercourse.
Nikah is a very real sense, "the rain is betrothed to the earth." The linguistic identity between sex and marriage difficult moral discourse: if there is sex marriage.
is narrated very clear on the importance attached to sex, and the rejection of celibacy. The Prophet said: "Young men! I recommend sexual intercourse. " He said: "Whoever likes to follow my tradition, you know that marriage is part of my tradition." We quote some anecdotes from the book "Sexuality in Islam" by Sayyid Muhammad Rizvi:
'Uthman ibn Maz'un was a close companion of the Prophet. One day his wife went to the Prophet and complained: "Oh Messenger of Allah!, 'Uthman fasts during the day and praying during the night remains." In other words, she meant her husband was abstaining from sexual intercourse with her.
The Prophet was so angry that did not even wait to put on his slippers. Came out-with the slippers in his hands and went home to 'Uthman. The Prophet found him praying. When 'Uthman finished his prayers, turned to the Prophet, and he said: "O' Uthman!. Allah did not send me to the monastic life, but He sent me a track simple and straight.
I fast, pray and I have intimate relations with my wife. So who likes my tradition, then it must follow, and nikah is one of my traditions. " Since 'Uthman was married, there is no doubt that the word nikah in this hadith refers to sex.
In another hadith of 'Ali narrated that some companions of the Prophet had vowed to abstain from sex with their wives, to eat during the day and sleeping at night. Umm Salamah, the Prophet's wife informed him about this group. The Prophet went out to his companions and said, "Ye shall of women while I go to women? I eat during the day and sleep at night. Who dislikes my tradition, that is not mine. " After this speech, Allah revealed the following verse:
"Believers! Not unlawful the good things Allah hath allowed!
And not transgress the law that Allah loves not those who violate it!
eat of the lawful and good things which Allah has provided you
And fear Allah, in Whom ye believe "(Qur'an, 5:87-88)
First, consider sex, food and sleep between "the good things that Allah has allowed you," and secondly, celibacy and abstinence are regarded as "violation of the law of Allah."
descended After these revelations, these companions went to the Prophet and said, "O Messenger of Allah! We have taken an oath to abstain from those things. " That is, how can we now break our vow of abstinence? Then Allah revealed the following verse:
"Allah does not take into account your oaths ..."
(Qur'an, 5:89)
Accordingly, an oath of celibacy or abstinence from things lawful and good is considered by God as a "vain oath."
marriage even raising the value of prayer. The Prophet said, "Two rak'at of a married person is better than a night of vigil and fasting for a single person." The Prophet said: "If someone wants to go to meet Allah in purity, then you should go to his meeting with couples."
A woman came to the Prophet's house and its pungent perfume soon filled the house. When the Prophet asked the visitor, the woman said she had tried everything to attract her husband but in vain, he kept his meditation to pay any attention.
The Prophet told him to report to her husband about the reward of sexual intercourse which he described as follows: "When a man approaches his wife, he is protected by two angels and a warrior is like fighting for the cause of Allah. When you have relationship with her, his transgressions seem like the leaves of a tree (in autumn). When you perform ablution, is clean of sins. " This means the sex and then thoroughly washed off equals off sins.
There is a verse of the Koran has been interpreted as a license for all types of positions:
"Your wives are a tilth unto you, because
come to your field as you wish, making
precede something for your soul,
and remain conscious of God,
and know that you will find.
And give glad tidings to those who believe "
(Qur'an, 2:223).
With this, the Quran you open doors to other considerations, which seem more characteristic of Tantrism which is commonly associated with Islam. The promise that Allah gives us through sexual intercourse is none other than his match. All desire is desire for union, to return to the source of all existence. Every desire is the wish of Allah, and training level of our organic, I find no more than intercourse.
On one occasion, the Prophet cited as an example of one of the three types of cruelty to "a man who makes love to his wife before stimulating." Another hadith compare sex without foreplay to animal behavior: "When anyone of you make love with his wife, do not go to it as a bird instead it should be slow and deliberate. "
The Prophet said: "There should be none among you who makes love with his wife and animals, but rather should be a messenger between them." When asked about the significance of this messenger, he said: "It means kissing and talking." The Prophet said: "... every game of a believer is void except in three cases: in horsemanship, in archery and mutual excitement with his wife, these are haqq (true, true)."
On the importance of sexual pleasure, there is a hadith in which Muhammad granted a divorce to a woman over the grounds that her husband is not satisfying. He said: "The best of you is the best treat his wife."
In short: sexuality and pleasure are gifts from God, and refuse to them is a vanity and a fumble. The human body is like a field for plowing, generator and quiet enjoyment. There is a courtesy in love, courtesy and respect that no means no enforcement, nor the acceptance of limits contrary to human nature.
Courtesy of love is the sign of the excess of cruelty and rudeness in sex, hypocrisy and puritanism. The sweetness of treatment, conversation and cuddling is the key to the union. All intimacy is intimacy with Allah.
