Possible WIMPs in the CDMS experiment.

During the last two weeks of December have seen quite hearsay and excitement regarding the possible detection of weakly interacting particles, better known as WIMPs its acronym in English. As we all know, the WIMPs are some potential candidates to be the Universe's dark matter, that matter seems to gravitate to exercise force, but is more or less than invisible. So far, by its very nature, were not detected.

In fact, I still can not say that have been identified, despite the desire to do so by certain communities within the current Physics. It was so much that even became an Internet broadcast of a talk in which they presented the results before they were even published in the arXiv repository. Apparently there was a computer problem pdf file sent to the system and the automatic release mechanism did not work. Fortunately there are already available copies of the original article posted on the Internet.
