CERN Director congratulates the physicists and engineers for the successful implementation of the great scientific machine
At 1810 hours on Wednesday over the full phase the first operations of the new particle accelerator LHC, as reported by Rolf Heuer, director of the European Laboratory for Particle Physics (CERN), near Geneva, to all staff the same.
