The purpose of fasting is to restrain the soul from the desires and away from things that have become accustomed, and to balance the force the soul of desire, so you can be prepared to achieve what is in the highest degree of happiness and delight to the soul, and acceptance of what purified for eternal life.
(for fasting) you limit your hunger and thirst for their sharpness and intensity, and agreed to the terms of the hungry stomachs of the needy. (Fasting) closely tracks the Shaytaan in the servant (of Allah), by narrowing the aisles of food and drink. It also contains the strength of the limbs to shape their dominance of what is harmful for him in this world and beyond.
Y, (fasting) dominates the whole body and soul force (following her) fancies, and harnesses in the right direction.
Because, no doubt (the fasting) is the flange of the [Muttaqun] fair and fearful of Allah and the shield of the warriors [a shield between them and the] fire of hell.
And is the exercise (spiritual) from Abrar [pious and righteous] and closer [to Allah]. Y is (ready) to the Lord of the universe, all actions [place to] the love of Allah.
For indeed the fasting person does nothing, merely abandons his desires, his food and drink for the sake of him who loves (for fasting is for Allah).
Therefore, (in the fasting) is the abandonment of things loved and desired by the soul, instead favoring the love of Allah and your pleasure. And it is a secret between the servant and his Lord, no one is aware of it, just him. And the servants (of Allah) should be aware of (their) external dropout that can break the fast.
However, as for him leaving his food, drink and desires for the sake of Him whom he adores, then this is something that mankind is not aware of it and surely that is the reality of fasting.
