aqeedah Question: What are the best ways and means to achieve unity?
Answer: The methods to achieve the unit are:
First: Correcting its creed, that which is purified against shirk. Allah says:
"And really your community is one community and I am your Lord, therefore fear Me Be."
[Surah Al-Mu'minoon verse 52]
This means that only join the right creed Hearts and defeat the evil, in contrast to have different beliefs and various deities, as each adherent of a creed is inclined to their own beliefs and deity, and meanwhile believes that the beliefs of others are false. For this reason, Allah says: What's better
(worship) different lords, or Allah, the One, the Dominant?
[Surah Yoosuf: 39]
In the Days of Ignorance (before the revelation of Islam), the Arabs were divided and suppressed on the ground. But when it came to Islam and their faith (belief) was revised, they joined their ranks and joined his kingdom.
Second: To hear and listen to Muslim rulers. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"I would advise you to have Taqwa (Fear / obedience) of Allah, and to listen and obey (the ruling), even a slave from Abyssinia (Ethiopia) who assumes power over you. For indeed, some among you lives will see many differences enough ... "
The reason for this is that the Muslim ruler is to disobey the conflict.
Third: Draw the Book (the Qur'an) and Sunnah to quell disputes and to put an end to conflict. Allah says:
"And if you quarrel about anything, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day This is better and has better outcome."
[Surah An-Nisa verse 59]
So one should not return to the opinions and traditions of men.
Fourth rectify and reconcile conflicts that occur between individuals or between nations. Allah says:
"... Fear Allah, put order among you ..."
[Surah Al-Anfaal verse 1]
Quinto: Fighting Khawaariy offenders and seeking to divide the unity of Muslims. If they are strong and powerful, they will destroy and corrupt Muslim society to the ummah (Muslim nation). Allah says:
"... but if one abuses the other, fight that has been abused ..."
[Sura al-Huyurat verse 9]
Commander of the Faithful, 'Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah is pleased with him), fought against the transgressors and Khawaariy. And this was considered one of its greatest virtues.
